Alaska Airlines is available to provide around-the-clock services for your large aircraft operation at Fairbanks International Airport (FAI), be it for passenger services, freighter/cargo services, aircraft testing and certification operations, or emergency diversion handling.
Our ground support equipment (GSE) inventory includes aircraft pushback tugs, stair trucks, ground power units, cabin heaters, Herman Nelson equipment heaters, potable water service, lavatory service, nitrogen service, forklifts, baggage tugs, belt loaders, air start units, upper and lower deck loaders, deice trucks, ULD dollies, ULD static racks, crew vans, and a full complement of aircraft tow bars. Our facilities include a fully-equipped operations office with pilot computers, high-speed Internet access, and access to office equipment. In addition, our cargo facility includes drive-in coolers and freezers for any temperature-sensitive shipments, in addition to a large warehouse floor for cargo sorting and preparation.
We have a staff of nearly 100 highly trained professionals ready to serve you, your crew, and your customers. Our staff includes passenger service agents, ramp service agents, cargo service agents, aircraft (A & P) mechanics, GSE mechanics, and operations personnel. A number of our staff members are also certified Ground Security Coordinators (GSCs), Complaint Resolution Officials (CROs), and aircraft incident response team members. We have established contacts with local aircraft cleaners, flight kitchens, aircraft fuelers, and Customs officials. We have experience serving carriers from around the world on both domestic and international itineraries and operating a wide variety of aircraft, to include Boeing 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, MD-80, MD-11, and Airbus aircraft, as well as a number of specialized aircraft, such as the Evergreen Supertanker or the Boeing Dreamlifter.
