This is Harry Oliver Tippens, " Junie ". His B-17 was forced down by FLAK. He did not survive. He was married 2 weeks before going to war. He was the flight engineer and waist gunner on B-17 serial number Boeing 42-31426. 301st Bomber group, 352 sq. Lucara Italy. Departed Foggia, Italy. primary Target, Styer, Austria. 26 March 1944.
