There are always photos of aircraft with vapour formations but they are usually on take-off. This photo takes it to a new level and captures the backlit effect on a classic airliner downwind before lowering the gear and turning on finals. These photos are a visible presence of the awesome power of lif as it works to keep the Queen of the Skys airborne while she silently and slowly slips through the air. Great capture.
