From my understanding there are plans on completing at least 1 of the 2 that were remaining that were never finished before the collapse of the Soviet Union. Using available parts and usable parts from the destroyed one. Its been a while since I heard that. It was on one of the news shows here. Unknown of the progress if any at all. I sure do hope they are able to bring the beautiful beast back to life. It was a sight to behold.

Wish Volodymyr Zelenskyy had flow the Mriya to Oshkosh early last year for safe storage.
I bet they would have found a parking spot for it.

Why they didn't fly it out to Poland or the UK just before the war started is a mystery.
This plane was built to ferry the Soviet space shuttle. They could have parked it at Kingman, Arizona.
