And a F4U-4 Corsair
Two of my favorite warbirds
As good as it gets. 5*
North American P-51 Mustang & F4U-4 Corsair
The Corsairs also fought in the Korean War. They were probably the -5s.
Both fought in the "Soccer" War between El Salvador and Honduras in 1969.

I'm not too sure about this picture. If it's 'for real', the Corsair is EXTREMELY close to the P-51. with its big four-bladed prop appearing to be only a few feet away from the Mustang's cockpit. And the Corsair' left wing tip must be almost touching the underside of the P-51's right horizontal stabilizer.
Scary!
Scary!
@adelma - ever heard of telephoto compression?
Viv Pike - I'm an airplane lover; not a photographer - only basically familiar with lens compression. But I also know these airplanes are each roughly 32 - 33 feet long, and in the image, they both measure about the same. Compression may have something to do with it, but those boys are CLOSE!
Great shot RJ! @adelma, yes, just as Viv Pike said, it's photo compression. I have multiple similar shots like this posted on FlightAware. Most of these type shots are also flying very close to each other in addition to the compression factor, which makes great shots like this possible.
My two favorite W W II fighter airplanes. Just beautiful.
