Adds a whole new meaning to a birds eye view
love this aircraft it is awesome!
I had no idea this was the view. Amazing design.
magnificent. if it was not for the B-29 I wouldn't be sitting here. Thanks for the foto.
Could this cockpit be the father of Darth Vader's TIE fighter ?
Can't help thinking that the crew would be vulnerable in flak.
Gee - I wonder where George Lucas got his inspiration for the Millennium Falcon?!?
Scary sitting there...
is this the flight deck of Fifi or Doc?
Paul F Harris - N529B is "FIFI"... :-)
Woh A Real Beauty
Has Captain Nemo gone for a leak?
Great shot! Kudos!
Muy chevere
Had a 2 and a half hour ride in one of these when it was a Washington in R.A,F. service as a 14 year old kid back in 1955. GCA approaches at 100ft. x6 at Sculthorpe. Formated with an F-84 Thunderstreak over Yarmouth etc. Never got as far as the driver though. An experience I shall never forget.
Reminds me of the Millennium Falcon
The guy stuffed up in the nose seat has the best view- of the flak coming his way. Same for the guy stuffed underneath the tail. That was the worst seat in the house when the landing gear malfunctioned.
My fatherinlaw Captain Robert Tiggerman flew one of these! He was an instructor stateside for a while. When I showed my wife the plane that her father flew, the look on her face! "My Dad actually piloted this aircraft?" oh My God! Dayton Ohio road trip.
Nordon Bomb Site?(spelling) All wires attached restored beautifully.
No glass cockpit.
It really messes with my head to see the modern day pilot with a cell phone and other navagational nonattached equipment. These pictures are fantastic. Saw one upclose and personal two years ago at KVYS Illinois. The amount of work, dedication and $ involved. detail detail detail

The "True" meaning of an "all glass" cockpit?
ADI looks modern, both sides and back up.
Is this the mlineum falcon
