It's an EC-121 "Warning Star." Lockheed's Connie in her military role in SEA. Both the USAF and the Navy flew them.
Fantastic pic from the past, Sam. I'll give it all 5, but it is worth three times that. Tango Yankee Victor Mike for sharing this.

Thank you Gary for the kind words, views and votes. I appreciate the depth of your knowledge of aviation and willingness to share it...

Hi again, Sam. Every aviation enthusiast who is seriously and honestly interested in aircraft (aviation) truly appreciates the pics you have shared. They preserve views of aircraft that made aviation history. By putting them up here, you are not only presenting aviation history but also the history of photography. This was the age of film when taking decent pics was both difficult AND expensive. Both the aviation era and the photographic era depicted in your photos are long gone now. (Mention the words "photo film" to a millennial and they say, "Whaaa ..?") Thanks again for all these posts, Sam.
And ... Thank You for your service!

PS >> I found my shots of a Kaman Huskie like the one in your photo. I saw it at a museum. I'll put it up soon. (Thumbs Up)
