Majestic airplane, timeless design! Thanks to the professionalism of British Airways 747-400 pilots and flight crew for many years of safe travel between Heathrow and Cape Town.

Flew literally millions of long haul miles on these BA birds all over the world from T4 and then T5. Used to love early morning arrivals at LHR so I could count how many 747 variants were on the ground. Hope their days are somehow not done. First class upgrades were always fabulous!

Saw too many BA 747's up at Kemble Airfield last week, all the engines removed and a very sad sight, they're done and no doubt in time ASI will dismantle each of them
