Piper Apache (G-APCL) - Piper Apache PA23-150 at Panshangar Aerodrome England UK 1961. Charlie Lema was the first Apache in the UK in 1957. The lady in the photo is my grandmother. Image scanned from Polaroid print which has lost much colour - the aircraft was dark red, black and white, the seats were red with black centre inserts, avionics were typical of the period, Narco. The ASI was in mph . . . great memories.
