honestly this is too much airplane. it looks like a great big elephant with wings and 12 legs. wonder why Airbus went out there, now they're having to scale back. When it comes to jumbo, Boeing holds that as the best. Flown for years the 747 to Europe and enjoyed every flight then on Pan Am. I can say it might be a lot of flyers, but who willing to wait for the long turn around when they could already be at their destination on conventional.

its good for a ny to south africa but then the question is what are the seat piches and room as you want to be comfortable not crammed

I think the visual design of the A-380 is totaly off. The height to length ratio is almost offensive to look at. When you look back at the Lockheed Connie, the Boeing 707 and the CV-880 you see smooth lines, not offensive bulk. Just my opinion; every is entitled to their own.
