What's the difference between 707 and 720?

This was a dream plane ... many trips on AA 707's ... most memorable was on one of their longest runs ... From JFK to HNL ... filled to the tip of the wings with fuel, they actually flapped a bit, (as the pilot told us before), as when went down the runway ... said we might have to make a technical stop in SFO if he thought we were too low on fuel due to head winds, BUT, we went straight in, NON-STOP ... those were the good ole days...!!!

Tomer ... Difference between 707 & 720 was the 720 was a Medium Range plane ... shorter, and only one (1) exit window over the wing usually. From a distance look liker the 707...!

Wow, great pic!!! I remember my Father taking me to Hanger 10 at JFK and seeing the 707, then getting to fly on it as a kid, and working them the first couple years I was with American.
