Japan Airlines announced the addition of new flights to its codeshare agreement with both Finnair and British Airways.  Beginning June 12, Japan Airlines will be able to place its code on Finnair-operated flights between Helsinki and Riga, Latvia, as well as on British Airways flights between London and Budapest.

Finnair’s flights between Helsinki and Riga operate five times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  From Helsinki, flights depart at 4:10 p.m. and arrive at 5:20 p.m., while flights from Riga depart at 11:05 a.m. and arrive at 12:20 p.m.

Meanwhile, British Airways flights between London and Budapest operate twice daily, with flights departing London at 2:35 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and arriving in Budapest at 6:00 p.m. and 11:55 p.m., respectively.  Flights from Budapest depart at 8:00 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. and arrive in London at 9:40 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.

Japan Airlines first began its joint business venture with British Airways in October 2012, and Finnair joined in October of last year.  With the additional flights, Japan Airlines has codeshares on 33 routes within Europe with British Airways and Finnair.
