I haven't understood the relevance of # 1 , bare foot et al . As I have understood , on long flights it's advisable to remove the shoes . And I think , in kits distributed to I class passengers some kind of cloth slippers are included . Which to my humble mind will be akin to taking off the shoes for the coach class passengers .

The airlines and buses, what do they have in common, looks like everything, and I have my share of time on both. LOL
@steverogers had the same thing happen to me on a flight to England. Never thought a pretty young thing could produce a fart to the point of nausea. Eric Clapton would of been singing oh that smell!!!
