I see a lot of comments, but none of you have focused outside the obvious. The obvious deals with waving a red flag saying, 'look what I've done and you can't catch me". The focus may want to be on the question of, 'why". Kind of like a straight kid who overnight arms himself and then goes to school on a sucide mission. After the fact there are always a lot of us asking, "why'. That may well be the primary question that shoud be asking here, "why", "what were you going to do with it?", "who were you going after?" So far, from this blog he has eluded all of these questions and will slip off the radar in a few weeks - but where will he surface the next time we hear about him, hmmm?
Bottom line is Law enforcement both local and federal are thumbing thru all their penal codes, FAA rules and regs. etc. and if they can't find a law restricting what this kid did there will probably be one on the books within a month and they will make it retroactive till they can find a reason to arrest him.
Good luck kid and be a little smarter next time.

AMEN!!!!
Stupid is as stupid does.
Just 1 point - what was the point? Why a gun? Why? ...and the next step would be?
There was a comment about a show where it was done "Sons of Guns". Maybe a copycat. Maybe a phyco. Either way so many have commented quite rightly can't fix stupid.
I love it when show like Mythbusters say don't try this at home. I wonder how many YouTube videos end up in hospital, serious head injuries etc.
