Woman Dragged Off Detroit Flight Like a Sack of Potatoes

Übermittelt

Picked the story with the best headline... The passenger allegedly walked past the gate agent without showing ID or a boarding pass. When the police showed up to remove her from the plane, she became "non-compliant" and had to be dragged down the aisle. She may or may not have been tazed before being removed. Folks, when a LEO tells you to do something...do it...argue in court...nothing like having your fat butt video' d while being dragged face down the aisle of an airliner...no esteem there...lol... I love it.

There are a lot of idiots in the world, especially these days it seems. The officers had little choice and did the right thing. Just hope this will make national news so that it sends a strong message to others like her.

Naaa...just now instead of reading about it in a few days in the Sunday Paper...we get a 24 hours news cycle of bored reporters who are looking to "make the news".

What scares me most is that woman's vote counts precisely the same as mine.

I don't know how old you are, but what scares me is the fact that your only comment here on this topic is political!
Ok, get it off your chest...tell us all who you voted for!

It doesn't even require wisdom, just a bit of common sense.

Sadly, common sense isn't very common anymore.

That's obviously not within the range of normal behavior. Something is clearly wrong there. Unfortunately, we don't really know what might be wrong.

But what's even worse is the usual parade of fools on this site who presume to know exactly why she did it ("idiot", "crazy") or use it as an excuse to comment on her body ("cow", "fat") or to spout off asinine political screeds. They're the ones that I find really disappointing.

i read she felt entitled to priority boarding, and blasted past the gate and into the airplane to claim her overhead baggage spot. Not mentally ill, just arrogance.

The simple fact she did what she did seems to indicate some degree of instability. Certainly not dressed as someone of privilege!

If that's the case, 1/3 the US population is in trouble!

Say what you want about the woman, but in my mind, this points to one or two possible causes of the event 1- mental issues or 2- substance abuse or 1+2=3- a combo of both. She is not alone and will probably avoid a guilty verdict with a good lawyer. IMHO.

Good points. She was with another lady. Wonder what she had to say about her friend.

My question is how did she get to the gate with no ID or boarding pass?

Probably came into DTW on a connecting flight; showed ID and boarding pass at the origin airport.

You still can't board without a boarding pass, regardless of where the fly originated
sstuff

Read the OP's question; she had BOTH boarding passes, one for the originating flight and one for the transfer flight from DTW. She just didn't *show* at the DTW gate.

I would presume she had a boarding pass but wouldn't present it at the gate. Mental issue?

The report said she didn't show it, not that she didn't have it!
