Pegasus Boeing 737-800 at Trabzon on Jan 13th 2018, overran runwayA Pegasus Boeing 737-800, registration TC-CPF performing flight PC-8622 from Ankara to Trabzon (Turkey) with 162 passengers and 6 crew, landed on Trabzon's runway 11 at 23:26L (20:26Z) but overran the runway, went down a slope and came to a stop on soft ground just short of the sea. Amazing that nobody was seriously injured. On the pics, the left engine is partially embedded in soft soil on the cliffside and the right engine is gone. (I think that may be it in the water). It seems that's what kept the aircraft from sliding all the way to the sea.

Looks like they went to make the turn-around in the wrong direction.
