Ryanair recently encountered a scandal involving the discovery of counterfeit components in two of its aircraft engines during routine maintenance checks. Could someone please clarify the news media outlets definition of Fake Engine Parts? Is it counterfeit parts manufactured by some shady outfit in God knows where? Or actual aircraft parts that have not been tested repaired and re certified by a legally licensed and approved company.
