Nothing says you're serious about stopping a tank and infantry division like a couple bad a$$ A-10s! Old, maybe. Effective...you bet your sweet a$$!!! Go boys! A-10 drivers eat enemy tanks for breakfast! And scare the crap outta enemy tank drivers and infantrymen like nothing else out there!
For an antique, it still seems to be required in a lot of places. Think it's possible they might restart production?? Don't believe the F-22 or 35 could do the CAS job as well.

Well, antique in automobile terms is 25 years and I assume that is from whence he cometh. Planes don't exactly fit that category. All of those you mentioned certainly fit that description and can definitely still hold their own. LOL
