American Airlines: What happens during a weather delay? Behind the Scenes

A well done presentation, that explains some of the back room "things" that make the planes go. The concern for minimizing the impact of delays on connection was the most interesting bit of information. In my life of travels, there were many days where snow was flying, clouds full of lightning and just plain "too many people" when these things were in play and we PAX never new what was happening behind the scenes. Thanks for posting the video.

These guys at American and their counterparts at other airlines are simply artists, no matter how fast their computers are, how sophisticated their programs might be, at the end of the line it is human gray matter that will resolve the problems. My hat is off for them.
