Southwest Airlines Scraps Senior Fares

obviously they believe that it is a drain on corporate profits, so who needs it?

Then, there are those of us who can now take advantage, and ... it isn't there any longer and, despite corporate comments to the contrary, NO, other discounts and programs don't make up for it.

I am a senior, now, and like millions of other seniors, I vote with my wallet and my feet. I will still look at Southwest, but now they are just another airline.

I've reached geezer status but, for me, the change makes sense. It will be bad news for lower income seniors but financial status varies in all age groups.
