India launches probe into Boeing's $11 billion Air India deal
Federal police in India have launched a criminal investigation of conspiracy and corruption allegations associated with a 2005 decision authorizing Air India to buy 68 Boeing jets for $11 billion. India's Central Bureau of Investigation said an India Supreme Court ruling in January ordered police to investigate alleged irregularities in the jet deal. Funny somebody else is looking at Boeing prices. Good Luck! They bought and paid for politicians to influence the purchase of somebody's airplanes...let's guess, was it Boeing? YES YOU WIN!
It's a big world, junior.

Ok I'm lost (and I am not being a smartass about this)...how does an article about a European Union aircraft builder, and its finances involving a European Union country member (this article and it's contents all took place before Brexit) have anything to do with Boeing, and India?
Just pointing out the fact that their dearly beloved EADS is not without some substantial and fairly well documented financial improprieties in order to sell and finance their product on the world stage. MH never saw a Boeing he liked and never squawks the numerous AB maintenance issues found above and below the Boeing reports he squawks from his oft quoted Avherald. Just sayin.
Ahh ok...well I think the whole mess with Boeing right now (Im not a fanbot of either Boeing or Airbus), is it has irked a huge number of folks by there going after Bombardier (not a Bombardier fanbot either), saying it "dumped" jets at Delta..A: Boeing doesn't even have an aircraft in the same classification as the C-Series so we are baffled why they got their panties in a knot (Delta wasnt looking at the 737 or A300 series for this order) and ALL aircraft manufactures get government assistance in 1 form or another..B Bombardier sold to Delta for only $4mil USD less per craft than list price asking (probably because Delta purchased 75 with options for more) C: We don't see Airbus getting all panty tied (with their new US manufacturing facilities, they could) wondering how Boeing could effectively sell their 737-900 for roughly $22 mil USD less than a comparable A321CEO.
Best response to the theme with the most rational argument so far. Nicely stated with the most exceptional clarification.
Gee wiz Mr.Bentwing60 yah sure as heck could have surprised me. Duh Huh Heck!
