Here’s Why Boeing Isn’t Worried About The Airbus A321XLR
Speaking at Routes Europe in Åódz, TAP Air Portugal's Henri-Charles Ozarovsky, Head of Strategy, Network, and Partnerships, suggested that the A321LR is "very competitive" with its A330. He said it has "roughly" half the capacity and half the fuel burn of the A330, and therefore "roughly" preserving seat-mile costs. Not sure why Mr. Steiner used the headline “Here’s Why Boeing Isn’t Worried About The Airbus A321XLR”. There’s zero mention of Boeing in the squawked article.
