Air NZ fights return of pilot accused of sex with flight attendant

Übermittelt

Air New Zealand is fighting the return to work of a pilot who slept with a flight attendant and drank the night before a flight. The woman claimed she was too drunk for the sex to be consensual, though the pilot said she initiated the affair. Evidence from a third staff member confirmed the woman had acted in a provocative manner with two men. The trio lay on a bed together while the woman asked to be spanked and showed her breasts. Pilots and stewardesses having a fling? I'm shocked. Shocked! Never before in the history of air travel has this happened! Of course, if he had been any kind of a gentleman, he would have refused the opportunity since she was obviously inebriated. Now, drinking before flying is a much more serious offense and that's what I hope they're focusing on instead of two adults engaging in consensual sex.

THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS.AND I DONOT THINK IT
WILL EVER STOP. AND ALL THIS WAS BEFORE THE FLIGHT?
I SAY THIS SHOULD BE IN THE HANDS OF THELOCAL PD. NOT THE AIRLINES..MY THOUGHT.

Have to go along with George on this one. Ever since the start of Airlines, this has been going on and isn't gonna stop, ever. I'm not sure why people make a big deal about this seeing as how the same thing goes on in every office in the world. What makes Airlines different? The only issue is the moral one (more so if they are married to other people), but there are more important things to write about than this.

What? Everybody wants to join the 'mile high' club Applicants are not required to drink! In fact, drinking is not an element.
They are focused on the wrong matter. The drinking is the issue but it doesn't make as good headlines.

I've never been hit on by a Flight Attendant, every one that flew with me was totally devoted to their "significant other". Not that I would have you understand, but it would have made me feel more at home in the aviation community. The only thing the airlines have given me is a divorce from my wife and a paycheck. Oh well, we can't all be Cary Grant.

The issue should be drinking before a flight if it was done infringing regulations. Otherwise, forget it! It is just good old humans behaving like humans.
