The greatest toy ever invented. The engineering is awesome.

This is a video presentation sent to me by a friend on the Left coast. I'm not presenting it as sales material. I have no horse in the race. I just found it fascinating. Enjoy it for what it is. (player.vimeo.com) Mehr...

Nice piece of gear.

I did and looks quite nice other than the landing gear or legs used other than that think it should sell.

At my age and condition a leg launch is not in the cards. There appears to be a couple of different models that go unexplained, some with a single wheel and skid plate. I've always imagined an airplane I could launch with a rubber band. :-)

Novel use of bungees in there. Leg landing is definitely out more than once.

Even once is out of the question for me. Heheh. Might have to work on mt short field/soft field techniques. It's for certain a different kind of flying from my usual straight and level transport kinda flying.

They say you don't need a chute for skydiving. You need it for skydiving- twice.
And then there is, a good landing is one you can walk away from. 8-)

Seems I've heard those bits if wisdom somewhere. I never paid much attention to parachute sayings. I never had the urge to jump out a perfectly good flying machine. I did tell Wilbur to keep it all simple cause someone else was gonna have to operate it later. He thought that was a good idea.

Due to Versailles restrictions Germany used bungee launches in primary flight training for future Luftwaffe pilots in the 1930s.

As they say, there is nothing new under the sun. Although, someone had to be the first bungee inventor. Thanks for the history lesson.

I can't be calculating the conversion correctly. What do you come up with as a cost in USD for the "RACE" model? I thought Switzerland was using the Euro.

Nor can I. But I could tell 4 things: 1)I cant either, 2) I couln't fly it, and 3) can't remember the other one.

But google can http://chf.mconvert.net/usd/87660
about 92 K USD.

I found a converter on line. At 865.80 F per $1,000, it comes to $101,247.40. Dennis C was right. Seriously expensive toy.

Good gravy, I can't remember what you just wrote. As for flyin' it, you just don't turn a 123 or an 130 that hard in normal ops, laded or empty
