Innovation and renovation in aviation have always been welcome almost all over the world as technology advances, improvements in existing fleet as well as in new designs become possible; which will certainly lead us towards safer and more economical flights than ever before. Along-with all others science and technology remain at work in order to bring about better improvements in electronics, avionics, mechanics, aeronautics, etc. Airbus is well known for above all. On the other hand Boeing is also now focusing more and more on innovation and improvements with respect to defense, economy and technology which I take as a good sign.

If your publication is called “airlinerwarch.com,” probably.

If it were Golf Digest I’d agree with you.

Not really. Boeing has had an aircraft with this capability for some time now, the 777-300ER. 770 of them have been delivered. This is nothing new. It just finally has a near equal competitor.
