Spectacular, Uwe.
The new A350-900 in South African colours now replaces the old A340-600 on the daily flights between FAOR and EDDF.
Thanks for posting this great pic of ZS-SDD, the first to FA, I believe.
(Her sisters are called SDC, SDE and SDF.)

You're lucky to have outside areas that you can use Uwe. Our terminal is fully enclosed, no external viewing areas and because of that all we have is glass to shoot through. Good in daylight but night shots are pretty much impossible with all the reflections.

you are right shooting to a windowglas is not good.
we have only one place here in Frankfurt to take nightshots
It is the place where Runway 18 begins, our so called Line Up position
