Boeing MD-11 (D-ALCD)
lufthansa cargo md-11f d-alcd landing at shannon 23/10/17.
Comments
I suppose that many McDonnell Douglas MD-11 aircraft smoke their tyres upon landing.
When the MD-11 program was launched incorporating a stretched fuselage version of the MD-10, it had a smaller tail assembly to reduce drag, improve fuel efficiency and increase its range. This resulted in excessive approach and landing speed many knots higher than other commercial aircraft.

Sharp observation, Leon.
