And another case of 'legal lotto'. 14 injuries, 65 plaintiffs.
I feel traumatized by reading about the suit, so who can I sue?

I can't wait for the passengers to turn on each other. Some of them took their carry-on luggage with them, which would have hampered the evacuation and possibly caused bumps and bruises.

May as well sue the airport and the contractor who laid the pavement too.

not to mention the caterer and the agent who booked them on the flight....All criminally negligent.

And the fueler and refiner, now there is contributory negligence.

Lawyers doing what lawyers do best...

Too many "ambulance chasing" lawyers in USA and the bigger problem of judges sucking up to them.

Problem is, this action (writ) was taken in England, not the U.S. And as far as judges go, they "suck up" to the party that presents evidence in a case and decide upon the merits. If someone admits to trauma because of an event, it's up to the other party to prove to the judge or jury it wrong or minimize it.

Since this incident was as GE put it, a fly speck in an otherwise incident free record for both the engine and aircraft model, I am quite surprised that the plaintiffs did not name British Airways as a co-defendant as they are responsible for the inspection and maintenance.

The rest of the world look at the US legal climate and shakes its heads in wonder (not a compliment).
