Yet another rare (VERY rare) visitor to KRNO ... and like the previous rare-to-Reno aircraft that have been here in the last two months, this one was here because its owner came to northern Nevada to appear in a rally in support of a candidate in the 2024 Presidential election.
N921MT, Mark Cuban's 40 million dollar Global Express, is captured here yesterday as it rotates away from Runway 17L at the start of a flight to Las Vegas following Cuban's campaign rally visit to Reno.

Thus far, there have been eight 2024 Presidential Election - related campaign visits to Reno, and VPOTUS Harris will be here this coming Thursday in Air Force 2. As a plane spotter, I could not be happier that the big state of Nevada with its tiny number of Electoral College votes is considered an important Battleground state because the election is such a close, neck-and-neck race. Thanks to this election, Trump's 100 million dollar 757, Mark Cuban's GLEX (.. above ..), Air Force Two, and several aircraft of different airlines have all been here. I'm just sad that it is all coming to an end next week.
