CONVAIR CV-580 (XA-UMI) - This Convair 340 was originally delivered to Braniff Airways in 1953. Amazing to see it still in regularly scheduled service with Aeronaves TSM. This bird was retrofitted with Rolls Royce Dart Turboprops and is now classified as a CV-640. Thanks to George Maidens for pointing this out in the comments!! A true treat to see as I had never photographed an active airborne former Braniff aircraft! (Please view in "Full" for best image quality)

This Convair 340 was originally delivered to Braniff Airways in 1953. Amazing to see it still in regularly scheduled service with Aeronaves TSM. This bird was retrofitted with Rolls Royce Dart Turboprops and is now classified as a CV-640. Thanks to George Maidens for pointing this out in the comments!! This is actually a Convair 640, fitted with RR Dart engines. Very rare indeed!

Hi Peter- I checked the other photos I got of this bird's approach and it is a 2 person crew. The angle on this shot makes it look like a single man crew
