Embraer ERJ-190 (N358JB)
N358JB, "Blue's on First" climbing away from Richmond's runway 2. I was visiting Virginia for a week and it rained hard the first three days of the trip, but cleared in the Richmond area on the fourth day and I was able to get some great photos of aircraft I never get to see on the west coast. While it was clear in Richmond, by the time I got back to the hotel which was about 40 minutes south it was pouring rain again.
Comments
Richmond airport has 2 runways that intersect near where I found this spot to take photos. The runways (34 and 2) were both active at the same time with most of the departures on 34. While I did get good shots of those ones, they were at a more "head- on" view and were already very high when they passed. When this one used runway 2 instead of 34, it offered a great view of the side and of the gear retracting.
Outstanding capture, Mark! Yah, the weather in the east is a whole different animal ;-)
Nice shot, Mark!
Thank you both Dwight and Greg!
5* picture Mark and nice gallery. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Dave! I just looked through your folder and you have some GREAT shots, especially the older ones :)
