Mitsubishi A6M Zero (N712Z)
With the dark clouds of a very brief snow squall over the Sierra Nevada as a backdrop, two Commemorative Air Force aircraft, a replica Mitsubishi Zero (N712Z) and a B-25J Mitchell, arrive at the 2019 National Championship Air Races (aka: Reno Air Races) last night shortly after 6 PM.

Amazing weather last night just after the final qualifying race of the day. Although the sun was shining down on the airport, a thundersnow shower was occurring only a few miles away. Lightning flashes were emerging from pitch black clouds, snow was falling over Mt. Rose, and rain was falling directly to my left. In fact, two rainbows formed only a minute after these two touched down at RTS and the next arrivals at the airport were backdropped by gorgeous rainbow colors and pitch black clouds (which resulted in fabulous photo opportunities). It was cold but there was no way I was going to stop watching Mother Nature's brief "performance" at this year's air races.

Which CAF? The group at KCMA has a restored A6m3 and KCNO has a A6m5
https://commemorativeairforce.org/aircraft/36 asserts N712Z is the KCMA A6m3
