Hi Steve. Sure, I'd love to see your photos. That would be great! Flying on that huge G-V must have been so cool. I've refueled & been inside a few while on the ramp at Toronto Intl many years ago but never had the pleasure of flying in one. I've always adored how gorgeous the wings are on a G-V with their smooth lower surface without any canoe fairings. I saw one of Rick's Saab 2000's on the ramp at the Adirondack Regional Airport(KSLK) in upstate New York on Jan 1st 2008. I was told by line guys they were in town with a few drivers to participate in a Bobsled Race at nearby Lake Placid. Good Times!

Thanks Chris, I'll send some over the weekend. I live on the beach in NC and the Presidential fleet uses the Wilmington International airport (KILM) for practice. Air Force One comes down on occaion and I have over 100 photos of this aircraft doing cool approches. last time he was here he stayed 2 1/2 hours. Awesome aircraft. Last year Hendrick bought a 3 engine falcon jet but, now they do not let take photos in the hanger. Not sure if they still own that aircraft. Last year I flew into the small airport in Toronto on another friends plane. I heard they are closing the smaller airport in Toronto. Is that true? Nice airport.

Hi guys. That's too bad about the G150 bizjet crashing but thankfully nobody was hurt bad. Regarding Hendrick Motorsport's G-V (N500RH) & flying it out of Key West, I guess they just never depart there when fully loaded. Here's a shot of it resting on the ramp at KEYW last October.

Chris: you are probably; at MTOW, get off is 5150 on the G5. Like I said earlier, they probably just took what was handy. Steve, I heard 4 broke ribs and clavicle. Is that about right or do you know?
Yes, that is correct. We text often, but, because of the work I do, I communicate almost everyday with Motorsports. Recovery will take a little longer than once thought. I hope to visit him at this house or office next week while in Charlotte.

Chris, great picture of Rick's aircraft. I've been on this aircraft several times. In fact, I've been on all of the Hendrick aircraft including the Helicopter. If your interested I'll send you pictures. Let me know if you want my email address.

>> Steve, yeah that must be pretty cool watching Air Force One shooting approaches in NC. Unfortunately you heard correctly about the smaller airport in Toronto which is called Buttonville (CYKZ). It is a great airport with the main runway being 4000x100 (rwy 33/15). I trained there for my PPL back in 1985 & visit it all the time. I last flew out of it a month ago in a 1968 Piper Cherokee. So many pilots are in dis-belief about the decision to close it. The land has already been sold. Apparently condoes, etc while be built there by real-estate giant Cadillac Fairview. It's supposed to close in about 4 years from now. This will leave over a hundred resident planes from small Cessnas to bizjets like a Falcon 7X looking for a new home, not to mention the flying clubs & maintenance shops. It's all about money ... it's a business deal. It's the 10th busiest airport in all of Canada! Crazy eh!
