A man steals Police Jeep and tries to ram an A320 of Aer Lingus at Cork Airport,Ireland

The man produced a knife to a Garda (Irish Police Officer)who stopped him on Patrick St in Cork city centre at around 4.30pm. He slashed the Garda across the face, hijacked his garda jeep and drove off, ramming several other vehicles and forcing terrified shoppers to dive for cover. He drove through the city centre, out the Southlink Road and up to Cork Airport, crashing through the security fence at the old terminal. why can't it be like america shoot first ask later. and be required to have a small gun with them on the patrol. what an absolute idiot. do they have stinger traps at the airport in the law enforcement cars. why didn't the special forces shoot the car they can replace the broken parts.

In Ireland cops don't carry guns. Only special forces who for some odd reason decided not to shoot him

All law enforcement vehicles should have a kill switch. I mean, they use them in bait cars, to catch criminals.

It would save time and resources, when one of these loonies steals a vehicle, in this case a cop car.
