I wonder how many hours were on that 727 and how much maintenance had been skipped due to a lack of parts from the US.
Every time there is an accident in Iran, I wonder who the U.S Government is really punishing with it's ban on sales. That said many frames in Iran are old but have low cycles and hours due to lack of use. The lack of parts are the problems as these A/C are just not used anywhere as much as in other nations.
This is a result of America, this what they really want to happen. Sanctions have prevented the sale of Airbus and Embraer aircraft as well to Iran and this basically means the US is at war with these people. What a dreadful nation the US is.
