Thanks, when I saw the picture I was curious if it was actually a 747. Then I read the part about there being only 79 passengers on board and got really skeptical.

What is so important about a twin jet losing one engine, this happens all the time, there are thousands of aircraft flying all over the world at any given moment and they can very well hold altitude even climb on one engine.
